We recommend a color boost every 12–18 months to keep your results fresh and defined.

 

💎 I was told I am not a candidate for Microblade, why not?

•Your skin is extremely oily and shiny for most of the day

• You have large, visible pores around the brow region

• The cost of frequent touch-ups is a concern for your budget

• You have had microblading before and noticed the strokes healed very blurry or faded very quickly

• You are prone to scarring — repeated microblading sessions on oily skin can cause scar tissue buildup over time, which is something many guides do not mention but is an important consideration

Healing happens in stages:

• Days 1–7: Brows appear darker, slight scabbing

• Days 7–14: Flaking/lightening

• Weeks 4–6: Fully healed results

A touch-up appointment is typically scheduled after healing.

 

💎 Who is NOT a candidate for PMU?

You may not be eligible if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding

• Have certain skin conditions or infections

• Are on specific medications (we’ll review during consultation)

💎 What is the definition of a piercing?

Body piercing is the insertion of an ornament into a perforation made in the tissue (1) for decorative, cultural, spiritual, or other reasons.

(1) Depending on the area of the body that is being pierced, tissue of various types will be perforated, (for example the cartilage of the ear, erectile tissue of the nipple, or mucous membrane and muscle of the tongue). Legislation sometimes excludes piercing of the ear under the definition of “body piercing,” but the health and safety issues concerning body piercing apply equally to the ear and to all parts of the body.

💎 What restrictions and paperwork and paperwork should be expected when getting a piercing under 18?
 

For any piercing of a minor, a parent or legal guardian must be present to sign a consent form. Proof positive, state issued photo identification is required from the legal guardian, and a bona fide form of identification from the minor. In the event the parent has a different last name and/or address from the child, court documentation is needed to prove the relationship, i.e., divorce papers, or a remarriage certificate.

Different studios will also have different restrictions on which piercings are available and at what age. Under no circumstances is it acceptable or appropriate for a piercer to perform piercing on the nipples or genitals of an individual under 18 years of age.

💎 Do you Tattoo Minors?

NO and they are not allowed in the tattoo treatment area. We recommend getting a sitter if possible or bringing a responsible adult with you if your child needs supervision.
